My name is Andrew Schofield, though I publish creative work under the name XENTRX.

For over twenty years, I’ve worked in the restaurant industry as a bartender and server — or, as I prefer to call myself, a Service Professional. Hospitality has shaped much of who I am: attentive, creative, and always looking for ways to connect with people.

Alongside my service career, I’ve been building a creative path in music, fashion and writing. I began DJing and producing original tracks with the long-term goal of having my music featured in film, television, and video games. In 2021, I received a full scholarship to study at Recording Arts Canada in Toronto, which deepened my understanding of sound and storytelling.

Writing, however, has always been my first creative love. I’ve recently completed my debut publication, The Limner at Work, the first collection of many stories I plan to share. My work blends lived experience, imagination, and a commitment to telling stories that might otherwise go unheard.

I currently live with my dog, Prince, in Toronto, where I balance service work with creative projects. Whether through a perfectly poured craft beer, a DJ set, a page of writing, or a unique bucket hat, I’m always striving to make meaningful connections and create something lasting.
